Festival Napa Valley: Evening of Dance at Charles Krug

Festival Napa Valley’s Dance Gala at Charles Krug Winery is a dazzling celebration of music and movement, featuring a lineup of internationally acclaimed dancers. Under the direction of Adrian Blake Mitchell, the evening showcases standout performances by Tiler Peck, Roman Mejia, Sasha De Sola, Joe Walsh, and Fabrice Calmels. Highlights include Jerome Robbins’ Other Dances, set to Chopin’s lyrical compositions, and Gerald Arpino’s Light Rain, a Joffrey Ballet favorite pulsing with energy and style.

The program also features a powerful excerpt from Alvin Ailey’s Cry, performed by Constance Stamatiou in honor of Judith Jamison, and the world premiere of Favorite Son, choreographed by Mitchell for Cuban triplets Marcos, Cesar, and Angel Ramirez, with music by Aldo López-Gavilán. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Charles Krug Winery, the Dance Gala promises an inspiring evening of artistry, innovation, and unforgettable performances.

Star Spangled Social at Napa County Fairgrounds

Celebrate Independence Day at Calistoga’s cherished Star Spangled Social & Parade. This year’s Parade theme, The American Dream, will shine through festive floats, dancers, horses, and more as they parade down Lincoln Avenue. The Parade route begins at 11am on Cedar, turns onto Lincoln, then Fairway, and ends at North Oak.

After the parade, enjoy the Star Spangled Social featuring a bustling Maker’s Market, bounce houses, climbing wall, mechanical bull, and carnival-style games. Kids can play safely in age-specific zones. Wristbands and game tickets available for purchase on-site, with proceeds benefiting local organizations.

From 2 PM to 10 PM, enjoy live performances, food, and fun. Cap off the evening with a stunning laser light show by ELS Lasers, an unforgettable grand finale!

Guests will enjoy a delicious brunch crafted by The Brunch Boys, featuring biscuits and gravy, Wise Acre Farm scrambled eggs, heirloom tomato polenta, bacon, and buttermilk waffles—all paired with a curated selection of Markham’s acclaimed wines.

The festive atmosphere continues with live bluegrass music from local favorites The LoWatters and country line-dancing lessons led by Lighthouse Dance in Markham’s historic stone cellar. Don’t forget your cowboy boots and hat—if you need one, Bosworth Hat Bar will be on-site offering custom cowboy hats for purchase. It’s a fun, flavorful way to enjoy the season with great food, wine, music, and dancing.
